The work consists of three crochet shirts in the form of nets, covered in white paint. The size of each shirt is approximately 140×80 cm.

The project consists of:

  • “Masses of people” video
  • 3 objects

The project addresses the theme of how familiar forms of social structure lose their stability.
The objects in the work repeat the shape of a shirt—an element associated with everyday norms, protection, and social roles. Here, the form is stripped of its utilitarian function. The transparent mesh structure emphasizes its vulnerability and fragility.
The work explores a state of crisis, in which familiar forms continue to exist but lose their stability and meaning.

In the video “Masses of people” the action begins with a solitary figure. Gradually, others join in, shifting from individual action to collective movement.

The participants perform improvised dance movements and balances.
As the figures come together, their movements become increasingly synchronized, and the differences between them begin to fade.
The participants’ reactions grow automatic and mirrored, reflecting a process of losing personal individuality and submitting to collective motion.

The video is a collaborative project with the Dodo Theater.
