About. Mmiore

Bio

I am an interdisciplinary artist, born in 1991 in Borovichi, Novgorod Region, Russia. Since 2022, I have been living and working in Georgia.

Since October 2022, I have been a member of the horizontal creative initiative tmp_space, and since 2023, I have also been a part of the art group “Particles”.

Artist Statement
My practice focuses on the interaction between the real and the imagined, where utopian thinking becomes a tool for critiquing the present and reimagining the future.
In my projects, I explore the mechanisms of collective and personal experience. I observe how humans interact with non-human agents—natural and technological objects, as well as symbolic structures. I am interested in how instability and crisis act as catalysts for the rethinking of values and norms, and how moments of change and destruction influence one’s perception of the world and relationship with the self.
The projects are built through working with material structures and simple actions—collecting, fixing, moving. I work with subtle changes in structure and perception—altering rhythm, creating points of pause, and leaving traces of interaction. These elements become ways to reassemble everyday experience.
I often collaborate with other artists, seeing it as a way to bring together different perspectives.
